Abstract

Nuklearna energija je energija koja se oslobađa iz nuklearnih reakcija fisije. To je efikasan način pretvorbe nuklearne energije u električnu s minimalnim emisijama CO2, što je čini jednim od ključnih izvora energije u Europi. Međutim, zbrinjavanje i skladištenje iskorištenog nuklearnog goriva predstavlja izazov zbog njegove visoke razine radijacije. U ovom radu analizirano je skladištenje u CASTOR® spremnicima, jednom od češće korištenih spremnika u članicama EU. Cilj rada bio je razviti koncept prikolice za siguran prijevoz spremnika unutar postrojenja ili na druge lokacije. Na temelju analize postojećih prikolica i nadogradnji, osmišljeni su različiti koncepti, od kojih je jedan konstrukcijski razrađen. Predloženi koncept prikolice razvijen je u skladu s međunarodnim standardima za siguran transport radioaktivnog materijala. Abstract (english)

Nuclear energy is the energy released from nuclear fission reactions. It is an efficient method of converting nuclear energy into electricity with minimal CO2 emissions, making it one of the key energy sources in Europe. However, the disposal and storage of spent nuclear fuel pose a challange due to its high levels of radiation. More storage of spent nuclear fuel in CASTOR® casks, one of the most commonly used casks in EU states. The goal of this study was to develop a trailer concept for the safe transportation of casks within facilities or to other locations. Based on the analysis of existing trailers and upgrades, several concepts were devised, one of which was elaborated in detail. The proposed trailer concept was developed in compliance with international standars for the safe transport of radioactive materials.
