Abstract

Ovaj završni rad bavi se razvojem i implementacijom mehatroničkog sustava za koncept
baseball udarača, s naglaskom na projektiranje pneumatskog sustava za oponašanje zamaha
palicom. U uvodnom dijelu opisana je povijest kratka povijest i razvoj baseballa u svijetu i
Hrvatskoj. Tehnički dio rada započinje detaljnom kinematskom analizom zamaha te izvodom
kinematskom modela baseball udarača. Predstavljena je konstrukcija koncepta gdje su opisani
dijelovi koncepta, a to su postolje, trup, ramena, nadlaktica, podlaktica te šaka u kojoj s nalazi
palica. Opisana je implementacija pneumatskog sustava koji se sastoji od tri linearna cilindra
koji omogućuju rotacijsko gibanje zglobova mehanizma kako bi se ostvario mehanički zamah
konstrukcije baseball udarača. Upravljanje i kontrola pneumatskog sustava izvršavat će se
preko upravljačke jedinice PLC-a preko senzora implementiranih na cilindrima.

Abstract (english)

This undergraduate thesis focuses on the development and implementation of
mechatronic system for the concept of a baseball hitter, with an emphasis on designing a
pneumatic system to simulate a bat swing. The introductory section provides a bried history
and development od baseball globally and in Croatia. The technical part of the thesis begins
with detailed kinematic analysis of the swing and derivation of a kinematic model of the
baseball hitter. The design of the concept is presented, describing the components of the system,
which include base, torso, shoulders, upper arm, forearm and fist which holds a bat. The
implementation of the pneumatic system, which consists of three linear cylinders enabling
rotational movement of the joints in the mechanism to achieve the mechanical swing of the
baseball hitter, is described. The control and managment of the pneumatic system will be
executed through a PLC crontol unit via sensors omplemented on the cylinders.
