Abstract

Rad je podijeljen u dva dijela, teorijski i eksperimentalni dio.
U teorijskom dijelu rada opisan je štetan utjecaj korozije i postupci zaštite od korozije odnosno zaštita organskim premazima. Poseban naglasak u radu je na postupke nanošenja organskih premaza te na infracrveno sušenje premaza. Od postupaka nanošenja premaza, detaljnije su opisani postupci zračnog i bezračnog prskanja, njihov načina rada, postupak primjene te međusobne prednosti i nedostatci. Također, način rada postupka infracrvenog sušenja, njegova primjena i prednosti i nedostatci. Dodatno je opisana tehnologija postupka infracrvenog sušenja u tvrtci Končar – Metalne Konstrukcije d.o.o.
U eksperimentalnom dijelu rada provedeno je infracrveno sušenje na ispitnim uzorcima te je utvrđeno potrebno vrijeme zagrijavanja i sušenja premaza pri različitim parametrima. Naknadno su provedena fizikalna i korozijska ispitivanja na istim uzorcima, te su uspoređivana dobivena svojstva sa atmosferski sušenim premazima.
Na temelju postignutih rezultata napravljena je analiza i izvedeni zaključci o načinu sušenja i vrsti premaza.

Abstract (english)

The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and experimental.
In the theoretical part of the thesis, the impact of corrosion and corrosion protection, specifically protection through organic coatings, is described. The emphasis in the thesis is on the application procedures of organic coatings and on the infrared drying of the coatings. Among the coating application procedures, the air spraying and airless spraying methods are detailed, including their operation, application procedure and their respective advantages and disadvantages. The operation of the infrared drying process, its application, and its pros and cons are also discussed. The thesis additionally includes a description of the infrared drying process technology at Končar – Metalne Konstrukcije d.o.o.
In the experimental part of the thesis, infrared drying was performed on test samples and the required heating and drying times of the coatings were determined under different parameters. Subsequent physical and corrosion tests were conducted on the same samples, and the obtained properties were compared with coatings dried in atmospheric conditions.
Based on the achieved results, an analysis was conducted, and conclusions were drawn regarding the drying process and the type of coating.
