Abstract

Dobivanje energije zahtijeva određeni trošak vode i obrnuto. Potrebno je optimizirati taj omjer i poveznicu kako bi se omogućila dugotrajna isplativost procesa proizvodnje energije. U radu termoenergetskog postrojenja potrebno je odvoditi višak topline kako bi se osigurao nesmetan rad postrojenja. Rashladna voda, kao najpovoljniji i najčešće korišten rashladni medij, ima veliku ulogu i važnost u procesu hlađenja. Pravilna priprema, obrada i korištenje rashladne vode krucijalni su u postizanju optimalne proizvodnje električne energije. Izvedbe rashladnih sustava, odabrani tretmani vode te održavanje optimalnih radnih uvjeta postrojenja, izazovi su s kojima se svako termoenergetsko postrojenje susreće. Cjelokupni proces ima određeni utjecaj na okoliš koji je raznim propisima i zakonima zaštićen od prekomjernog iskorištavanja i narušavanja ekosustava.
Ovaj rad prikazuje važnost poveznice vode i energije, proces funkcioniranja raznih rashladnih sustava termoenergetskih postrojenja, zakonske propise utjecaja istih na okoliš te tehnološke procese postizanja zadovoljavajućih tehničko-biokemijskih uvjeta kvalitete rashladne vode. Posebno je naglašen utjecaj i sanacija slučajeva pojave bakterije Legionella u rashladnoj vodi.

Abstract (english)

Energy production comes at an expense of water and vice versa. It is a necessity to optimize that link as to ensure a payoff in the long run of the energy generation process. It is necessary to take away the excess heat from the operating power plant so that the plant can operate without any disruptions. Cooling water, the most often selected medium for cooling, has a significant role and importance in the cooling process. The proper preparation, treatment and use of cooling water are truly crucial for the optimal generation of electrical energy. Cooling system arrangements, treatments of cooling water and maintaining satisfactory levels of water quality are all frequent problems that every power plant encounters and tackles. The whole process has a certain environmental impact that must be in accordance with regulations, as to prevent overuse and destroying of the ecosystem.
This paper presents the importance of water-energy link, functioning processes of different cooling systems, laws limiting the impacts of the process on the environment and treatments bringing cooling water to satisfactory bio-chemical and technical standards. The effects and sanitization of the water regarding occurrence of the bacteria of the Legionella genus is especially emphasized.
