Abstract
U diplomskom radu prikazan je postupak termodinamičkog proračuna centrifugalnog kompresora koji je napravljen u računalnom programu Excel. Objašnjen je i prikazan način profiliranja strujnog dijela centrifugalnog kompresora. Ukratko je prikazan pristup numeričkom modeliranju turbulentnih strujanja, korištenjem već postojećih programskih paketa za tu namjenu. Programskim paketom FLUENT modelirano je i numerički riješeno strujanje u kanalima rotora. Rješenja dobivena pomoću napravljenog geometrijskog modela uspoređena su s rezultatima termodinamičkog proračuna te je pokazano vrlo dobro slaganje rješenja, što ukazuje na valjanost projektiranih strujnih kanala rotora kompresora. Na napravljenom modelu provjerena je čvrstoća rotora pomoću programa OpenFOAM. Na kraju je napravljen radionički crtež rotora te sklopni crtež uzdužnog presjeka turbokompresora
