Abstract

U sklopu diplomskog rada izrađen je računalni program u programskom jeziku C++ za oblikovanje geometrije rotorske lopatice aksijalnog ventilatora primjenom numeričke simulacije strujanja. Unutar programa su integrirani programski paketi OpenFOAM i Gmsh za potrebe provođenja simulacija strujanja i generiranja geometrije lopatice ventilatora. Pomoću izrađenog računalnog programa potpuno je automatiziran postupak definicije inicijalne geometrije rotorske lopatice te postupak modifikacije lopatice na temelju numeričkih simulacija strujanja kroz ravninsku rešetku s ciljem postizanja zadanih radnih parametara ventilatora. Provjera rada računalnog programa provedena je numeričkom simulacijom strujanja zraka kroz rotor aksijalnog ventilatora. Rezultati simulacije pokazuju da je dobiven aksijalni ventilatori visoke učinkovitosti.

Abstract (english)

Within the scope of this thesis a C++ computer code was created for the purposes of designing axial fan rotor blades by means of numerical simulation. The program integrates the software suites OpenFOAM and Gmsh for the purposes of performing numerical simulations of fluid flow and geometry generation respectively. The code fully automates the process of defining an initial blade geometry and the subsequent modifications of the blade geometry based on the results of fluid flow simulations in two-dimensional cascades in order to achieve the desired operational characteristics of the fan. The performance of the program was analyzed by performing a numerical simulation of airflow through the rotor of the constructed axial fan. The results of the simulation show that the fan is of high efficiency.
