Abstract

Višekriterijsko projektiranje složenih inženjerskih sustava metodološki je, vremenski i računalno zahtjevan proces. Pri rješavanju takvih problema koriste se metode sinteze poput optimizacijskih algoritama, dekompozicijsko‐koordinacijskih metoda, aproksimacijskog (surogat) modeliranja i metoda za potporu pri odlučivanju. Projektiranje složene tankostjene konstrukcije broda ili zrakoplova spada u skupinu visoko dimenzionalnih (large scale) problema s više projektnih ciljeva, više stotina projektnih varijabli i više desetaka tisuća projektnih ograničenja. U radu je provedena klasifikacija koncepata iz domene optimizacije složenih sustava, što obuhvaća formulacije optimizacijskih problema za takve sustave te postupke primjenjive za njihovo rješavanje. \Na osnovi analize karakteristika pojedinih metoda sinteze te karakteristika samog projektiranja složenih tankostjenih konstrukcija izvedeno je unapređenje procesa projektiranja tankostjenih konstrukcija dekompozicijom na funkcionalne jedinice ‐podstrukture (unutar kojih su sadržani elementi čija su svojstva bitnije spregnuta) te povezivanje, odnosno koordinacija podstruktura surogat modelom strukturnih odziva. Korištenjem tehnika objektno‐orijentirane paradigme, svojstva i ponašanje optimizacijskih metoda, dekompozicije problema te surogat modeliranja, a u određenoj mjeri i integriranih modula analize, preneseni su u okruženje za potporu pri projektiranju. Time je omogućeno intuitivno korištenje tih metoda putem prezentacijskog sloja računalnog okruženja, pri rješavaju problema projektiranja složenih sustava općenito, pa tako i pri projektiranju tankostjenih konstrukcija.

Abstract (english)

Multi‐criteria design of complex engineering systems is methodologically and computationally demanding and time consuming process. Optimization algorithms, problem decomposition, surrogate metamodeling and methods for decision support are synthesis methods that are usually employed to solve the design problem. The design of complex thinwalled structure (eg. ship and/or aircraft) falls within the category of large scale problems characterized by several design objectives, hundreds of design variables and tens of thousands of design constraints. The classification of concepts in the complex systems optimization domain, which includes the formulation of optimization problems for such systems and procedures applicable for their solution, has been done first. Based on the undertaken classification and the characteristics of a thin‐walled structures design, the process of thin‐walled structures design has been improved by decomposition on the functional units ‐ substructures (within which are elements whose properties are strongly coupled), and the coordination between structural substructures by surrogates of a structural response. Using the object oriented programming paradigm techniques, properties and a behavior of optimization methods, a problem decomposition, a surrogate modeling and, to some extent, integrated analysis modules, have been transferred into the design support environment. That enables an intuitive use of these methods through the presentation layer of the computing environment, in solving the problem of complex systems design in general, including the design of complex thin‐walled structures.
