Abstract

Sektor grijanja i hlađenja u Republici Hrvatskoj zauzima 36,6% u finalnoj potrošnji energije što je posljedica relativno starih sustava te neadekvatno izoliranih zgrada. Primjenom metoda energetske učinkovistosti te visokoučinkovite kogeneracije i centraliziranih toplinskih sustava može se postići smanjenje potrošnje primarne energije. Nadalje, ti sustavi predstavljaju djelotvoran mehanizam za integraciju većeg udjela obnovljivih izvora energije i otpadne topline. Na taj način pridonose smanjenju emisija stakleničkih plinova i ovisnosti o uvoznim fosilnim gorivima te omogućuju korisnicima komfornu, pristupačnu i pouzdanu opskrbu.
U ovome radu prikazane su metode izrade tehno-ekonomske analize centraliziranog toplinskog sustava grada Ozlja koja obuhvaća mapiranje toplinskih potreba i scenarijsku analizu. Ona se provodi za dvije alternative distirbucijskog sustava te su za isplativiju predložena i razmotrena dva različita proizvodna postrojenja. Za pokrivanje toplinskih potreba prvo postrojenje koristi isključivo kotao na biomasu, a drugo sinergiju kotla, solarnih kolektora i toplinskog spremnika te je za njega provedena optimizacija koristeći program H2RES. Svi analizirani slučajevi unutar ovog rada su isplativi te ekološki prihvatljiviji od trenutnog stanja, a pritom se kao optimalno rješenje pokazalo postrojenje s kotlom na biomasu koje zadovoljava toplinske potrebe građevina u centru grada i industijskoj zoni. Nadalje, cijena toplinske energije iz tog sustava bila bi niža od prosjeka Europske unije i Republike Hrvatske.

Abstract (english)

The heating and cooling sector stands for 36,6% of the final energy consumption in the Republic of Croatia due to relatively old systems and inadequate building insulation. Reduction in primary energy consumption will be achieved, if energy efficiency measures as well as high-efficiency co-generation and district heating systems are used. Furthermore, these systems present effective mechanism for integration of a greater number of renewable energy sources and waste heat. In doing so they not only contribute to reduction of greenhouse gases emissions and dependence on import of fossil fuels but also enable comfortable, affordable and secure supply of heat energy.
This thesis depicts methods used for techno-economic analysis of district heating system located in the city of Ozalj. It has covered heat demand mapping and scenario analyses for two alternative district heating distributions. For the more feasible alternative, two types of heat production facilities have been proposed and analyzed. First facility is biomass-fired heat plant whereas second one uses synergy of solar and biomass energy. The latter scenario is optimized by H2RES model. All cases analyzed in this thesis are feasible and more environmentally friendly than the current state. Scenario with the smaller distribution network and heat only biomass boiler has come out as the optimal solution. Price of the heat energy would be below the European Union and Croatian average.
