Abstract

Ovaj rad na primjeru objašnjava korištenje tehnologija kao što su Node.js, MongoDB, React.js i Express.js u svrhu izrade web stranica troslojne arhitekture. Troslojna arhitektura odnosi se na strukturu web stranice podijeljenu na tri sloja (prezentacijski, aplikacijski i podatkovni) od kojih svaki ima svoju ulogu. Iako su navedene tehnologije jedne od vodećih i najpopularnijih alata za izradu web stranica, posljednjih godina dolazi do sve veće popularnosti novih tehnologija kao što su Cursor, Raycast, TypeScript, PWA, bezserverska arhitektura te mnoge druge.

Razvojem web i mobilnih aplikacija, potreba za znanjem o njihovom razvoju je sve veća. Poznavanje navedenih alata pomaže kao i inženjerima mehatronike, tako i drugim strukama kod pronalaska zadovoljavajućeg radnog mjesta i napredovanja na poslu. Cilj ovog rada je pojasniti korištenje tih tehnologija i alata te upućivanje na modernije i naprednije tehnologije.

Abstract (english)

This paper presents an example of developing a three-tier architecture website using tools such as Node.js, MongoDB, React.js and Express.js. The point of using three-tier architecture is dividing the website structure into three tiers: Presentation, Application and Data tier. Although the technologies mentioned above are some of the leading and most popular tools used for developing websites, in recent years some new emerging trends have been entering the market, such as Cursor, Raycast, TypeScript, PWA, serverless architecture and many more.

With the rise of web and mobile applications, the need for at least basic knowledge about their development is getting bigger every year. Knowing the basics about those tools could help mechatronics engineers, as well as many other fields, in finding a satisfactory job and climbing the corporate ladder. The aim of this paper is getting the reader acquainted with usage of these technologies and informing him about newer and more sophisticated ones.
