Abstract

U ovom diplomskom radu obrađena je revitalizacija 3-osne CNC glodalice tipa Sieg KX3 nadogradnjom upravljačkog sustava otvorene arhitekture. Rad obuhvaća detaljnu analizu postojećeg stanja stroja, od identifikacije nedostataka i tehničkih ograničenja do prijedloga sustava otvorene arhitekture i implementacije novih komponenti koje omogućuju povratak stroja u funkciju. Dan je pregled dostupnih upravljačkih sustava otvorene arhitekture, njihovih mogućnosti, prilagodljivosti konfiguracije i kompatibilnih hardverskih rješenja. Implementirani su upravljački sustavi otvorene arhitekture GRBL i LinuxCNC uz ugradnju novog odgovarajućeg hardvera, te su testirana gibanja glavnog i posmičnog prigona.

Abstract (english)

This thesis deals with the retrofit of a 3-axis CNC milling machine, specifically the Sieg KX3, by upgrading its control system with an open-architecture solution. It includes a detailed analysis of the machine's current state, from identifying deficiencies and technical characteristics to proposing an open-architecture system and implementing new components to restore the machine's functionality. An overview of available open-architecture control systems, their capabilities, configuration adaptability, and compatible hardware solutions is provided. The open-architecture control systems GRBL and LinuxCNC were implemented along with the installation of appropriate new hardware, and the motion of the main and feed drives were tested.
