Abstract

U ovom radu je prikazana prerada razvodnog mehanizma eksperimentalnog motora HATZ 1D81 iz izvedbe s bregastim vratilom u bloku i prostorom izgaranja karakterističnim za Dieselov motor u izvedbu s bregastim vratilima u glavi motora i prostorom izgaranja karakterističnim za Otto motore. Eksperimentalni motor se koristi u Laboratoriju za motore i vozila na Fakultetu strojarstva i brodogradnje u Zagrebu. U uvodnom dijelu ovoga rada objašnjene su funkcije i vrste razvodnog sustava te prednosti i mane različitih izvedba. Nadalje su objašnjeni zahtjevi koje nova glava i razvodni mehanizam mora zadovoljiti, te su na temelju tih podataka razrađeni koncepti elemenata razvoda i glave motora. Koncepti su uspoređeni prema zadanim kriterijima, te je odabran jedan koncept za daljnju razradu. Odabrani koncept omogućuje rad Ottovog motora s pretkomorom i Ottovog motora s vanjskom pripremom smjese. U drugom dijelu rada objašnjena je konstrukcijska razrada razvodnog mehanizma i kanala u glavi motora. Na kraju je izrađen 3D model i pripadajuća dokumentacija u programskom paketu SolidWorks.

Abstract (english)

This thesis presents the conversion of the valvetrain mechanism of the experimental HATZ 1D81 engine from the camshaft-in-block design and combustion chamber characteristic of a Diesel engine to the overhead camshaft design and combustion chamber characteristic of Otto engines. The experimental engine is used in the Laboratory for Engines and Vehicles at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture in Zagreb. In the introductory part of this thesis, the functions and types of valvetrain systems are explained, along with the advantages and disadvantages of different designs. Furthermore, the requirements that the new cylinder head and valvetrain mechanism must meet are outlined, and based on this information, concepts for the valvetrain and cylinder head components are developed. The concepts are compared based on specified criteria, and one concept is selected for further development. The chosen concept enables the operation both as an Otto engine with prechamber and as a sparkignition (SI) engine with manifold injection. In the second part of the thesis, the structural elaboration of the cylinder head channels and valvetrain mechanism is explained. Finally, a 3D model and accompanying documentation were created using the SolidWorks software package.
