Abstract

U ovom radu prikazana je konceptualna, konstrukcijska te strukturalna razrada kompozitne šasije RT07-Taurus bolida namijenjenog za Formula student natjecanje. U konceptualnoj razradi prikazani su mogući koncepti šasije, te koncepti ostalih komponenti koji direktno utječu na konačan oblik šasije. Odabrani su kriteriji za vrednovanje koncepata te je pomoću njih odabran konačni koncept šasije. Konstrukcijska razrada uključila je razradu ergonomije vozača, prikaz pojedinih primijenjenih konstrukcijskih rješenja te analizu mase i usporedbu s ciljanom masom definiranom u konceptualnoj razradi šasije. Detaljno je opisana provedba odabira svih potrebnih materijala, te odabir raspodjele slojeva unutar sendvič strukture kompozitne šasije. Provedba odabira uključivala je numeričke analize korištenjem metode konačnih elemenata te velik broj provedenih ispitivanja određenih ispitnih uzoraka. Kako bi se dokazala sigurnost šasije i sigurnost vozača unutar šasije određena Formula student pravilnikom, provedeni su proračuni svih dijelova šasije. Konačno, provedena je numerička analiza korištenjem metode konačnih elemenata kod udarne zone bolida te torzijske krutosti šasije i naprezanja šasije uslijed nekoliko različitih uvjeta vožnje bolida.

Abstract (english)

This thesis presents the conceptual, design, and structural analysis of the composite chassis of the RT07-Taurus racing car for the Formula Student competition. The conceptual analysis showcases various chassis concepts and concepts of other components that directly influence the final shape of the chassis. Criteria were selected to evaluate the concepts, and based on them, the final chassis concept was chosen. The design analysis includes the development of driver ergonomics, presentation of specific applied design solutions, mass analysis, and a comparison with the target mass defined in the conceptual analysis of the chassis. The implementation of material selection and layup within the sandwich structure of the composite chassis is described in detail. The selection process involved numerical analyses using finite element method and a significant number of physical tests conducted on specific test samples. To evaluate the safety of the chassis and the driver inside it, calculations for all chassis components were performed according to the Formula Student regulations. Finally, a numerical analysis using finite element method was conducted for the impact attenuator of the car, torsional stiffness of the chassis, and stress analysis of the chassis under various driving conditions.
