Abstract

Korištenje simulacijskog modeliranja i ispitivanja vozila sve je zastupljenije u današnjoj industriji, te predstavlja učinkovit način za procjenu performansi i dizajna vozila već od ranih faza razvoja. Uz pregled literature koji opisuje vrste simulacijskih modela i osnovne pojmove trkaće vožnje, u ovom radu je opisan model električnog sportskog vozila izrađen korištenjem kombinacije softverskih alata MATLAB/Simulink i IPG CarMaker. Koristeći model vozila provedena je simulacijska analiza osjetljivosti na parametre mase i raspodjele mase vozila, pogonskog sustava, aerodinamičke parametre, te odabir pneumatika. Cilj simulacijskog ispitivanja je kroz analizu pokazati utjecaj odluka koje se donose prilikom dizajniranja vozila na performanse prilikom voznog ciklusa na trkaćoj stazi. Rezultati simulacijske analize potom su potvrđeni putem mjerenja vozila, za slučaj ispitivanja utjecaja odabira pneumatika na ostvarene performanse. Podaci s vozila su izmjereni i zabilježeni koristeći mjernu opremu, te su rezultati kroz komparativnu analizu prikazani u odnosu na rezultate simulacijskog ispitivanja virtualnog modela vozila.

Abstract (english)

The use of vehicle simulation is becoming increasingly present in the modern automotive industry, proving to be an efficient way to evaluate vehicle performance and design from the early stages of development. This thesis describes the model of an electric sports vehicle created using MATLAB/Simulink and IPG CarMaker software tools, as well as a literature review outlining the different simulation model kinds and basic concepts of lap time simulation. Using the vehicle model, sensitivity analysis was performed on various parameters such as vehicle weight and weight distribution, powertrain system parameters, aerodynamics, and tire selection. The goal of the simulation analysis is to showcase the impact of design decisions on vehicle performance for the application of race track driving cycles. The results of the simulation analysis were validated through vehicle measurements, specifically examining the effect of tire selection on achieved performance. Vehicle data was collected and recorded using measurement equipment, and the results were correlated against the simulation results of the virtual vehicle model through a comparative analysis.
