Abstract

U sklopu završnog rada bilo je potrebno izraditi dijelove sustava za dehidraciju etilnog
alkohola. Adsorber i kondenzator su dijelovi sustava za dehidraciju etilnoga alkohola koje je
bilo potrebno obuhvatiti proračunom. Adsorber je uređaj unutar kojeg se nalaze molekularna
sita koja služe za dehidraciju para etilnog alkohola sa čistoće 95% na čistoću 99,6%. Za
potrebe proračuna izrađen je termodinamički proračun i proračun čvrstoće kondenzatora
(Shell-tube) etilnog alkohola. Kondenzator se hladi vodom početne temperature 28°C. Na
kraju rada je prikazan P&ID dijagram procesa. P&ID dijagram je grafički prikaz procesa u
kojem je prikazana sva oprema zajedno sa mjernim instrumentima i regulacijom potrebnom
za funkcioniranje procesa.

Abstract (english)

The aim of this paper was to construct a part of ethyl alcohol dehydration system with
calculations of the adsorber and condenser. An adsorber is a device that contains molecular
sieves which improve ethanol purity by dehydrating it from 95% to 99,6% volumetric purity.
thermodynamic calculation and strength calculation were conducted for ethyl alcohol shelltube
condenser. The condenser is water cooled with the initial water temperature being 28°C.
At the end of the paper a P&ID diagram containing all of the procesing equiment, measuring
instruments and regulations necessary for optimal system functionig is shown.
