Abstract
U sklopu diplomskog rada prikazana je mogućnost iskorištavanja Sunčeve energije za proizvodnju električne energije putem toplinske konverzije Sunčeva zračenja. Opisane su raspoložive tehnologije (tipovi solarnih termoelektrana) koje se u tu svrhu koriste, te je dan prikaz trenutnog stanja solarnih termoenergetskih postrojenja u svijetu. Pretvorba dozračene Sunčeve energije u toplinu vrši se putem solarnih toplinskih pretvornika, a dobivena toplina potom se iskorištava za pokretanje toplinskog stroja, odnosno električnog generatora za proizvodnju električne energije. Na temelju raspoloživih meteoroloških podataka za područje Dalmacije, odabrana je najpovoljnija lokacija za izgradnju solarne termoelektrane. Za odabrani tip postrojenja zadane električne snage 20 MW definirana je konfiguracija, kao i svi parametri parne turbine (kondenzacijska parna turbina s međupregrijanjem) dobiveni termodinamičkim i aerodinamičkim proračunom. Za posljednji stupanj parne turbine proveden je postupak oblikovanja profila statorskih i rotorskih lopatica odabranom metodom profiliranja polinomom petog reda. U prilogu je dan radionički crtež rotorske lopatice posljednjeg stupnja, te sklopni crtež uzdužnog presjeka parne turbine.
