Abstract

Ozljede se javljaju u svim sportovima, a cilj ovog rada je analizirati njihovu pojavu u baletu. Koji su sve čimbenici koji utječu na njihovu pojavu i kako ih smanjiti na minimum? Balerine počinju plesati od malih nogu, pa se analizom treba krenuti od njihovih prvih doticaja sa plesom. Glavni utjecaj na plesače u mladim danima imaju njihovi pedagozi koji ih podučavaju osnovnim tehnikama. Ako pedagog nije osvješten o svim opasnostima s kojima se plesači susreću, velika je vjerojatnost da će plesači ili krivo naučiti neke od tehnika, čime im se znatno povećava vjerojatnost nastanka ozljeda, ili će se već na početku školovanja ozljediti. U sklopu plesnog školovanja, ključno je u nastavni plan uključiti i predmete poput anatomije kako bi plesači bolje razumjeli građu i biomehaniku svog tijela. Ova znanja moguće je primijeniti u plesu, ali i ako dođe do ozljeda, plesač će lakše komunicirati sa liječnikom ili terapeutom. Kako plesači odrastaju, intenzitet vježbi sukladno tome raste. Mijenja se i baletna oprema koja također ima značajni utjecaj na nastanak ozljeda. Baletne špice postaju opasnost ukoliko tehnika izvođenja vježbi nije pravilna ili ukoliko špice postanu previše iznošene pa ne podržavaju stopalo u dovoljnoj mjeri. Kako bi se ozljede svele na minimum, plesači moraju imati i dobru propriocepciju svoje okoline, pod na kojem plešu trebao bi apsorbirati udarce, a bliska okolina ne bi smjela sadržavati prepreke ili opasnije rekvizite. Tijekom izvođenja pokreta plesači moraju biti svjesni svojih mogućnosti i sukladno tome prilagoditi svoje izvedbe.

Abstract (english)

Injuries appear in every sport, and the goal of this thesis is to analyse injuries in ballet. What are all the factors that affect their occurrence and how to reduce them to a minimum? Ballerinas start dancing at a very young age, so the analysis should start from their first contact with dance. The main influence on dancers in their youth is their educator who teaches them basic techniques. If the educator is not aware of all the dangers that dancers face, it is very likely that dancers will either learn some of the techniques incorrectly, which significantly increases the likelihood of injury, or will be injured at the very beginning. As part of dance education, it is crucial to include subjects such as anatomy in the curriculum so that dancers can better understand the structure and biomechanics of their body. This knowledge can be applied in dance, so even if injuries occur, the dancer will find it easier to communicate with a doctor or therapist. As dancers grow older, the intensity of the exercises increases accordingly. Ballet equipment is also changing, which is another significant influence on the occurrence of injuries. Pointe shoes can become a danger if the technique of performing the exercises is not correct or if the pointe shoe becomes too worn out and does not support the foot sufficiently. In order to minimize injuries, dancers must also have a good proprioception of their surroundings, the floor on which they dance should absorb shocks, and the close environment should not contain obstacles or more dangerous props. During the performance of the movement, the dancers must be aware of their abilities and adjust their performances accordingly.
