Abstract

Pogonski sustavi u većini slučajeva koriste električne motore za pogon, no pneumatski motori, također, imaju mnoge pozitivne značajke koje bi im čak mogle dati prednost pred električnim motorima u pojedinim sustavima. Ovaj rad prikazuje jedan regulirani pneumatski sustav, koji je u tom slučaju primjer jednog pneumatskog servosustava. U uvodu su dane neke osnovne usporedbe karakteristika električnog motora i pneumatskog. Dalje u tekstu objašnjen je općenito rad pneumatskog servosustava te je jedan takav projektiran i izrađen. Sustav će se prvo modelirati i simulirati. Odabrane komponente i dijelovi koji će se strojno izraditi potom će se sklopiti u eksperimentalni postav nakon čega će se regulirati brzina vrtnje pneumatskog motora. Eksperimentalni rezultati koji će proizaći iz tog testiranja bit će uspoređeni sa simuliranim i na kraju će se iznijeti zaključak.

Abstract (english)

Drive systems in most cases use electric motors for the drive whereby it is often being overlooked that pneumatic motors also have many positive features that could even give them an advantage over electric motors in specific systems. This work presents such a controlled pneumatic system, which is an example of a pneumatic servo system. In the introduction, a comparison of the basic features of an electric and a pneumatic motor is given. Further in the text the operation of a general servo system is explained and then a pneumatic servo system is designed and physically constructed. First, the system will be modeled and simulated. The required components and parts will be machined and then will be assembled in an experimental setup, after which the performance of the pneumatic motor's speed control will be tested. The experimental results will be compared and a conclusion will finally be given.
