Abstract

U radu su analizirani postojeći rubni uvjeti na Marsu bitni za održavanje uvjeta toplinske ugodnosti unutar nastambi. Analizirane su četiri nastambe predstavljene na natjecanju NASA's 3D-printed Habitat Challange te su na temelju dostupnih podataka izrađeni energijski modeli nastambi korištenjem računalnog programa TRNSYS. Pomoću dokumenata dostupnih na NASA-inim stranicama definirane su satne vrijednosti vanjske temperature i proveden proračun dozračene Sunčeve energije na površini Marsa u računalnom programu MATLAB. Simulacija godišnjih potreba grijanja analiziranih nastambi provedena je korištenjem računalnog programa TRNSYS. Rad sadrži opis rubnih uvjeta i kritičnih problema prisutnih pri osnivanju održivog stanovanja na Marsu, te detaljan opis odabranih nastambi i postupak izrade računalnih modela unutar korištenog alata. Modeli nastambi izrađeni su pod pretpostavkom jednakog životnog prostora od 110 m² namijenjenog stalnom boravku četiri odrasle osobe. Pod pretpostavkom cjelodnevnog grijanja nastambi pri postavnoj temperaturi od 20⁰C, izračunato je da najmanju godišnju potrebnu energiju za grijanje od 1818 kWh/m² ima nastamba MARSHA, tvrtke AI Space Factory.

Abstract (english)

The paper analyzes the existing boundary conditions on Mars, which are relevant for maintaining thermal comfort conditions within buildings. Four buildings presented at NASA's 3D-printed Habitat Challenge have been analyzed and energy models have been developed in the computer program TRNSYS, based on available data. Using the documents available on NASA's website, hourly values of the outdoor temperature have been defined and the calculation of solar radiation on the surface of Mars has been done in MATLAB. The simulation of the annual heating needs of the analyzed buildings has been performed using the computer program TRNSYS. The paper gives a description of boundary conditions and critical problems present in the establishment of sustainable housing for Mars, as well as a detailed description of selected buildings and the energy modeling procedures. Housing models have been developed assuming an equal living space of 110 m² intended for the permanent residence of four adults. Assuming continuous heating at the set temperature of 20⁰C, it was calculated that the building MARSHA, from the company AI Space Factory, has the lowest annual energy required for heating and is equal to 1818 kWh/m².
