Abstract

Cilj ovog završnog rada je proučiti dostupnu literaturu o pojavi korozije metalnih dijelova, prikazati metode zaštite od korozije te obraditi premaze protiv korozije koji su djelotvorni pri visokim temperaturama. Završni rad se sastoji od teorijskog dijela i eksperimentalnog dijela.
Teorijski dio daje uvid u procese korozije te načine na koje se može usporiti ili spriječiti korodiranje materijala. Opširnije su opisani visokotemperaturni premazi te zaštita dimovoda.
U eksperimentalnom dijelu ovog rada opisano je provedeno ispitivanje svojstava premaza za zaštitu dimovoda. Eksperiment se provodio u svrhu provjere postojanosti svojstava premaza pri izloženosti agresivnim atmosferama (vlažna i slana komora) te povišenoj temperaturi. Na temelju dobivenih rezultata eksperimenta dana je procjena kakvoće i zaštite koju korišteni premaz nudi.

Abstract (english)

The goal of this Bachelor thesis was to study available literature about corrosion appearance on metals and investigate methods of protection against corrosion. For the method of protection from corrosion this paper considers high temperature coatings and their application in chimneys. This paper is structured in two parts: theory and experiment.
The theoretical part of this paper provides an insight into the processes of corrosion and the ways in which the corrosion of materials can be slowed down or prevented. As a desirable method of protection, high-temperature coatings and chimney protection are considered and described in more detail.
In the experimental part of this paper, the testing of the properties of coatings for chimney protection was conducted. The experiment was performed in order to check the stability of the properties of the coating when exposed to aggressive atmospheres (humidity and salt chamber) and high temperature. Based on the obtained results of the experiment, an assessment of the quality and protection offered by the used coating is given.
