Abstract

Ovaj završni rad obrađuje temu „Konstrukcija uređaja za ispitivanje snage karting motora“, unutar koje je obuhvaćen opći opis konstrukcije karting vozila, zatim su navedene karakteristike i dimenzije ispitnih motora, nakon čega slijedi pregled uređaja za ispitivanje snage. Izrađena je funkcijska dekompozicija, kako bi se pružio konkretniji uvid u potrebne funkcije uređaja za ispitivanje snage. Na temelju nje, izrađena je morfološka matrica sa tehničkim rješenjima za svaku pojedinu funkciju. Odabirom tehničkih rješenja generirana su dva koncepta, a njihovom usporedbom odabran je bolji za daljnju razradu, u ovom slučaju Koncept 1. Slijedeći korak bio je proračunati glavne dijelove uređaja, među kojima je naglasak stavljen na zamašnjak, kao najvažniju komponentu cijelog uređaja. Prednost je dana zamašnjaku jer o njegovom momentu inercije ovisi vremensko trajanje ispitivanja, a samim time i valjanost, stoga je u cilju optimizacije zamašnjaka provedena simulacija u programskom paketu Simulink i dobiven je optimalni moment inercije zamašnjaka. Usporedno s proračunom izrađen je 3D model uređaja na temelju kojega je izrađena sva potrebna tehnička dokumentacija. Na kraju ovog rada osmišljen je i validiran matematički model po kojem bi uređaj trebao računati moment i snagu ispitnog motora.

Abstract (english)

This bachelor thesis deals with the topic "Design of karting engine test bench", which includes a general description of the design of karting vehicles, then the characteristics and dimensions of test engines are listed, followed by an overview of the test benches. Functional decomposition was made, in order to provide more concrete insight into the necessary functions of the power testing device. Based on it, a morphological matrix with technical solutions for each individual function was created. By selecting technical solutions, two concepts were generated, and by comparing them a better one was selected for further development, in this case Concept 1. The next step was to calculate the main parts of the device, among which emphasis was placed on the flywheel as the most important component of the whole device. Priority is given to the flywheel because duration of the test depends on flywheels moment of inertia, and thereby test validity. So, in order to optimize the flywheel, simulation was performed in the software package Simulink and the optimal moment of inertia of the flywheel was obtained. In parallel with the calculation, a 3D model of the device was made, based on which all necessary technical documentation was made. At the end of the paper, a mathematical model was developed and validated that can be used for calculation of torque and power of the tested engine.
