Abstract

Ideja električnog pogona transportnih sredstava svakim danom postaje sve zastupljenija. Razlozi tome leže u manjem zagađenju u odnosu na motore s unutarnjim izgaranjem, tiši rad, smanjenje buke, jeftinijem pogonu. Uz baterije za spremanje energije, najvažniji sastavni dio električnog sustava transportnih sredstava je električni motor. prolaskom struje kroz namotaje statora i brzim okretanjem motora dolazi do njegovog zagrijavanja. Kako bi se smanjili toplinski gubici, potrebno je obratiti posebnu pažnju na hlađenje elektromotora.
U ovom radu su metodama računalne dinamike (RDF) provedene simulacije hlađenja rotora elektromotora s permanentnim magnetima za dva slučaja. Jedan je slučaj glatkog rotora, a drugi slučaj je rotor s lopaticama. Simulacije prijenosa topline su provede u programu OpenFOAM 4.1. Dobiveni rezultati simulacije za glatki rotor uspoređeni su s dobivenim podacima za usporedbu. Također, međusobno su uspoređeni i podaci dobiveni RDF simulacijama za slučaj glatkog rotora i rotora s lopaticama. Na temelju rezultata na kraju rada dan je zaključak.

Abstract (english)

The idea of electric drive propulsion is becoming more and more prevalent every day. Reasons for that are lower pollution in comparison with internal combustion engines, silent engine operation, lower noise level, cheaper propulsion. With battery for storing energy, electric motors are one of the most important part of the electric drive system. By passing current through stator windings and great rotor speed of rotation, motor is heating up. Therefore, to reduce heat losses, the motor must be cooled.
In these thesis, CFD conjugate heat transfer simulations in program OpenFOAM 4.1 were carried out for two cases. One is the motor with no blades on rotor, ie. flat rotor, and the other one is motor with blades on rotor. The CFD results for motor with no rotor blades were compared with given data. The CFD results for motor with and without rotor blades were compared mutually. Based on results, at the end of this thesis, a conclusion in given.
