Abstract

U ovom se radu pomoću holističkih mjera gospodarstvenog rasta makroekonomskih sustava – indeksa ekonomske složenosti i indeksa složenosti proizvoda, nastoji analizom i sintezom trgovinskih podataka iz relevantnih svjetskih baza podataka, opisati i predvidjeti proizvodnja kao aspekt gospodarstvenog rasta u Republici Hrvatskoj. Rad odgovara na neka od temeljnih pitanja proizvodnje suvremenog doba izraženog brzorastućom kompleksnošću, dinamičnošću i neizvjesnošću: Što i kako proizvodimo? te Što je potrebno proizvoditi? Ustanovljeno je da se posebno ističu sljedeće skupine proizvoda: strojevi, kemikalije, vozila i elektronika. Također, razvijen je i opisan model primjene indeksa ekonomske složenosti na projektiranje proizvodnih sustava, a na osnovi metode refleksije.

Abstract (english)

This thesis analyses the production as an aspect of economic growth in the Republic of Croatia using the holistic measures of the productive capabilities of large economic systems: the Economic Complexity Index (ECI) and the Product Complexity Index. The thesis answers to some of the fundamental questions of contemporary production in the Republic of Croatia which is characterized by fast-growing complexity, dynamism and uncertainty: What do we produce? and What needs to be produced? The following important product groups have been identified: machinery, chemicals, vehicles and electronics. Also, the model of the application of the ECI to the design of production systems has been developed using the method of reflection.
