Abstract

U ovkviru ovog završnog rada je izvršena numerička simulacija turbulentnog strujanja (Re=2e5) oko NLF(1) – 0115 aeroprofila pomoću k-kl-ω modela turbulencije pri napadnim kutovima 0°, 5° i 10°. Pri tim napadnim kutovima su izračunati koeficijenti otpora i uzgona koji su uspoređeni sa rezultatima dobivenim XFOIL kodom. Valjanost k-kl-ω modela turbulencije je ispitana na sljedeći način:
1. Koeficijent otpora cilindra pri Re=1e5 se izračunao numeričkom simulacijom pomoću k-kl-ω modela turbulencije.
2. Koeficijent otpora dobiven k-kl-ω modelom se usporedio sa koeficijentima otpora dobivenim eksperimentalnim mjerenjima i k-ω SST modelom turbulencije.

Abstract (english)

The aim of this bachelor thesis was to model turbulent flow (Re=2e5) around the NLF(1) – 0115 airfoil with the help of the k-kl-ω turbulence model. Numerical simulations were done at three angles of attack: 0°, 5° and 10°. The coefficient of drag and lift was calculted at the mentioned angles of attack and compared to the results calculated using the XFOIL code. The accuracy of the k-kl-ω turbulence model was analysed in the following way:
1. The drag coefficient of a cylinder at Re=1e5 was calculated with the help of the k-kl-ω turbulence model.
2. The calculated drag coefficient was then compared to those obtained experimentally and by numerical simulations using the k-ω SST turbulence model.
