Abstract
U okviru ovog rada istraživan je titan-magnezij kompozit s 12% magnezija u svrhu određivanja bioadhezijske kompatibilnosti i kemijske postojanosti. Poseban naglasak stavljen je na istraživanje utjecaja sterilizacije na svojstva kompozita za uzdužni i poprečni presjek. Ovaj materijal proizveden je metalurgijom praha s ciljem da se smanji modul elastičnosti, gustoća i poboljša oseointegracijski kapacitet. Takva svojstva ne mogu se postići klasičnim postupcima lijevanja. Sva ispitivanja su provedena u uvjetima karakterističnim za implantate i prema propisanim normama.
