Abstract

Tema ovog rada je ''Uporaba metoda operacijskih istraživanja u uslužnom sektoru''. Operacijska istraživanja su složeno interdisciplinarno područje koje se bavi problematikom odlučivanja u realnim uvjetima uzimajući u obzir sve faktore koji na problem djeluju direktno ili indirektno, kako bi se pronašlo najbolje odnosno, optimalno rješenje. S obzirom da postoji sve veća potreba kontinuiranog poboljšanja procesa, i to ne samo u proizvodnom sektoru, sve veća je zastupljenost metoda operacijskih istraživanja i u djelatnostima uslužnog sektora. Posebice se to očituje u području zdravstvenih usluga gdje se na taj način postižu optimalna rješenja koja rezultiraju u boljoj usluzi, smanjenju troškova i povećanju konkurentnosti. Osnovna ideja rada bila je istražiti i obrazložiti mogućnosti primjene metoda operacijskih istraživanja u uslužnom sektoru Republike Hrvatske, uzimajući u obzir specifične uvjete našeg podneblja. U teorijskom dijelu rada su definirani osnovni pojmovi, definicije i izrazi u operacijskim istraživanjima. Zatim, detaljno su objašnjene sve metode operacijskih istraživanja kako bi se kasnije mogla odabrati metoda koja je najprikladnija za rješavanje problema. Teorijski dio potkrijepljen je s dva konkretna primjera iz prakse. Istraživački dio rada bazira se na pronalaženju optimalnog rješenja za realne podatke zadanog problema, simulirajući različite uvjete i ograničenja. Na osnovu dobivenih rezultata i njihove analize, doneseni su odgovarajući zaključci o tome da li je problem uspješno riješen.

Abstract (english)

This paper is about the ''The use of operations research methods in service industries''. Operations research are complex interdisciplinary field that deals with the issue of decisions in real terms, taking account all the factors that affect the issue, directly or indirectly, in order to find the best or optimal solution. There is an increasing need of continuous improve processes, and not just in the manufacturing sector, but also increasing the use of operations research methods in service industries. Especially, it is reflected in the health service where thus achieve optimal solutions result with a better service, reduce costs and increase competitiveness. The basic idea of the study was to explore and explain the use of operations research methods in service industries considering the specific conditions in Croatia. The theoretical part defines the basic concepts, definitions and terms used in operations research. Next, there are detailed explanations of all operations research methods in order to choose the most appropriate method to solve the problem. The theoretical part is supported by two concrete examples from practice. The research part of the work is based on the optimal solution for a given problem with real data, simulating various conditions and restrictions. Based on the results and their analysis, there have been adopted appropriate conclusions on whether the problem is successfully solved.
