Abstract
Postupak punjenja kalupne šupljine rastaljenim metalom jedan je od najvažnijih koraka u proizvodnji kvalitetnih odljevaka, no ujedno je i jedan od onih koji su najmanje razumljivi. Kao posljedica toga, često se bazira na predviđanjima. Stoga može imati štetne posljedice na kvalitetu odljevaka. Posebna se pozornost posvećuje pravilnoj i nepravilnoj konstrukciji uljevnog sustava. Prikazan je način konstrukcije jednostavnog uljevnog sustava na jednostavan način. U okviru rada napravljene su i razne varijante uljevnih sustava za zadani model te su pritom uspoređeni rezultati obzirom na dobivenu kvalitetu odljevka. U obzir su uzete i simulacije provedene u programskom paketu QuikCAST te stvarni odljevci. Rezultati simulacije dobro se poklapaju sa rezultatima lijevanja.
Abstract (english)
The process of filling the mold cavity with molten metal is one of the most important steps in the production of high quality castings, but is also one of those who are at least understandable. As a consequence, it is often based on the predictions. Therefore, it may have harmful effects on the quality of castings. Special attention is given to the regular and irregular design of the gating system. It is shown how to design simple gating system in a simple way. Various versions of gating system for a given model were constructed. The obtained results were compared considering the quality of the casting. Simulations performed in software package QuickCAST and a real castings were taken into consideration. Simulation results are in good agreement with the casting results.
