Abstract
U završnom radu ukratko je opisana povijest automobila i polimernih kompozita. Prikazane su svojstva i vrste matrica i ojačavala polimernih kompozita koji se upotrebljavaju u automobilskoj industriji. Obrađeni su i postupci izrade kompozita te detaljnija primjena razvrstana po segmentima automobila. U zadnjem je dijelu ukazano na zahtjeve koji se postavljaju na materijale te nove trendove na tom području.
Abstract (english)
A brief history of automobiles and polymer composite materials is provided in this thesis. Properties and types of the matrix and reinforcing fillers used in the automobile industry are portrayed as well. The procedures of making polymer composite materials are also elaborated, as well as a more detailed use of these materials sorted by automotive parts. In the final part the attention is drawn to the demands made on the materials and new trends in that area.
