Abstract

Primjena I – profila u strojarstvu i građevini izrazito je široka zbog velike nosivosti u odnosu na masu. Moment tromosti i moment otpora poprečnog presjeka I – profila izrazito su veliki u odnosu na ostale oblike poprečnog presjeka jednake površine. Često se koriste u konstrukcijama u kojima je glavno opterećenje konstrukcije težina same konstrukcije, npr. mostovi, krovne konstrukcije hala itd., te se zbog toga teži smanjenju mase konstrukcije tj. I – profila.
U ovom radu provedena je numerička analiza utjecaja smanjenja mase IPE profila izrezivanjem otvora kružnih oblika po rebru profila na promjenu naprezanja i deformacija odnosno smanjenje nosivosti profila. Provedena je analiza utjecaja veličine otvora i razmaka između otvora te su dane preporuke za konstruiranje. Numerička analiza provedena je metodom konačnih elemenata u programskom paketu Abaqus®. Verifikacija konačnih elemenata provedena je na primjeru savijanja konzolnog nosača za koji su rješenja numeričke analize uspoređena s analitičkim rješenjima. U radu je proračunat standardni puni IPE profil analitičkom metodom i metodom konačnih elemenata čija su rješenja služila kao referentna za daljnju analizu.

Abstract (english)

The application of I - profiles in mechanical engineering and construction is extremely wide due to its high load capacity in relation to mass. The moment of inertia and the moment of resistance of the cross section of the I - profile are extremely high compared to other cross - sections of the same cross section area. They are often used in structures where the main load of the structure is the weight of the structure itself, e. g. bridges, roof structures of halls, etc., and therefore, intention is to reduce the mass of the structure, i. e. the I - profile.
In this paper, a numerical analysis of the effect of reducing the mass of an IPE profile by cutting openings of circular shapes in the web of the profile on the change in stresses and deformations, respectively, decreases the load capacity of the profiles. An analysis of the effect of the size of the openings and the distance between the openings was performed and recommendations for the design were made. Numerical analysis was performed using the finite elements method in the Abaqus® software package. Finite elements verification was performed using the cantilever beam bending for which results of numerical analysis were compared with analytical results. The paper calculates a standard IPE profile by the analytical method and the finite elements method whose solutions have been used as a reference for further analysis.
