Abstract

Tema rada je uporaba statističkih metoda u vojnim sustavima. U vojnim sustavima zbog velike važnosti i visokih ulaganja vlada stalna potreba za olakšavanjem ili unaprjeđivanjem aktivnosti. Veliki razmjeri i kompleksnost sustava taj zadatak otežavaju i zato je potrebno pronaći metode za dobivanje reprezentativnih podataka i metode kojima će se ti podaci obraditi tako da se dobije što točniji zaključak.
U radu je iznesena klasifikacija područja najčešće primjene statističkih metoda temeljena na zastupljenosti u dostupnoj literaturi, područja su ukratko opisana i ilustrirana primjerima, a neke od metoda su teorijski razrađene i primjeri njihovog korištenja u praksi su detaljno objašnjeni.

Abstract (english)

The topic of the paper is the use of statistical methods in military systems. In military systems, due to the great importance and high investment, there is a constant need to facilitate or enhance activities. The large scale and complexity of the system make the task difficult, and it is therefore necessary to find methods for obtaining representative data and the methods for processing that data in order to draw the most accurate conclusion.
The paper presents a classification of the areas where statistical methods are most frequently used based on the representation in the available literature, the areas are briefly described and illustrated with examples, and some of the methods are theoretically elaborated and examples of their use in practice are explained in detail.
